FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I offer competitive flat and hourly rates, I welcome learning as much about your project and budget as possible to create a custom quote that works for us both.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The more information the better! Safety and compliance are of the utmost concern for me when operating the drone. As early as possible, I'd like to know the exact location of your shoot so I may begin my online scouting process, checking for any airspace restrictions that may require an FAA authorization or waiver. If we're set to fly, I want to learn about your exact needs and timeline, and to get an understanding of your vision. Day of, I'll constantly monitor weather and on-the-ground hazards to ensure the drone poses no risk to you, your property, or to people in the vicinity.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an FAA part 107 certified remote pilot and carry $1,000,000 in liability insurance. For years, I have worked with my spouse's photography business as a second shooter and assistant, and know my way around a wedding shoot!
