- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to charge by the project rather than by the hour. However, clients often prefer to be given an hourly estimate. Therefore, I usually tell new clients that my fee can range from $20/hr. - $70/hr. depending on the project details.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I primarily do promotional videos for companies, but I also have experience with feature-length films, news organizations, and event coverage such as weddings and fundraisers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice to a customer looking to hire a videographer / editor like myself is to find out what equipment is used. My equipment is the very high quality in professional videography and editing. The worst thing that can happen is for a customer to hire a videographer or editor and when the time comes, realize that he/she is using sub-par equipment which cannot provide the high quality production desired.
