We are David and Iris Matthews, a husband and wife photography and video studio based in Cambridge.
We work with nonprofits, businesses, cultural institutions, and civic organizations across Cambridge and Greater Boston. Our clients include Cambridge Community Center, Central Square BID, Cambridge Arts, Cambridge Local First, and Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House. We were hired by the Mayor's office to photograph the CRLS graduation, and we currently document public art installations across the city for Cambridge Arts.
What we cover: events, nonprofit programs, leadership portraits, team headshots, brand and business photography, interviews, and event recap video. We also design and build websites.
Everything we deliver is finished and edited. You get high resolution and web ready files in an organized gallery, with full rights to use them on your website, in reports, on social media, and in press.
David grew up in Cambridge and ran a business here for 15 years before starting Camayah with Iris. We know these rooms and the people in them.
We do not photograph weddings, birthday parties, or baby showers. If you run an organization or a business and need coverage that will still be useful a year from now, that is the work we do every week.

I booked Camayah Visuals for several private events both indoor and outdoor at different times of day. Each time, the work was fantastic. They showed up on time, offered easy to understand, fair pricing, the best equipment available, and the flexibility to deliver regardless of the event type & vision. In one case I booked them to do photography and mid-event they were able to mic me up and capture professional video footage of an impromptu speech that I gave. 5 stars!

ATD Advisory first hired Camayah Visuals to showcase the inaugural Cambridge Local First Small Business Bootcamp. As the visionary & director of this one-of-a-kind program, it was important for me to tell The Bootcamp story through imagery. Subsequently, I then brought on Camayah Visuals for a photoshoot of ATD Advisory, to capture the essence of my brand. This husband-and-wife duo exceeded my expectations.
