- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to find out as much as possible about the occasion, the venue, the audience, the special person or guest. Then I can make adjustments to my performance to fit the occasion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly. I am a member and officer of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. We meet monthly to improve our craft. I also meet monthly with the Society of American Magicians where I am a member and officer. I attend conferences where we have lectures. And there are so many books to read! The learning never ends - that's part of the fun.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a teenager I did a little magic, but nothing serious. In 2005 I became interested again and discovered two magic societies in my area and began an intense magic and mentalism learning program. I rented a small theater and began giving shows for family audiences.
