- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I also offer package deals. Packs of 4 - 60 minute massages will be $360.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to speak with my client and find out what brings them here. What are their goals? Is it just for relaxation? Chronic injury? Pain management? Better mobility? A resolution to take care of yourself? Once that is settled and we have established a base, we then do the massage. The first massage is me getting to know you. Where I need to go. Where I should focus. I’ll attend to your requests for certain areas. After the treatment is finished, we will conclude by either formulating a treatment plan or scheduling your next session. I do a lot of clinic based work. My style is slow, orthopedic and myofascial techniques. This isn’t a normal massage. It’s a beginning for you to feel better.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Usui Reiki 1997 Charles River School of Shiatsu 2000 The Massage School Boston 2016 Massage and bodywork has always been my life. I started a unique journey of self discovery during my teenage years with martial arts and Eastern medicine. It led me to massage and bodywork. I studied shiatsu at the Charles River School of Shiatsu in 2000 and moved to Southern California when I finished. I had a successful bodywork practice out of a yoga studio in Huntington Beach, CA. Years later I came back to the east coast and went to the Massage School in Boston. During school I refined my knowledge in Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Points ans Myofascial Treatments. I decided to expand on that and am currently getting my CAMT 1 certification.
