Matt has worked for our family as a personal chef over the Thanksgiving holidays for the past three years. In addition to menu planning, shopping and cooking for the main Thanksgiving meal, Matt has also overseen lunch and dinner the day before as well as brunch for Thanksgiving day--for 20 people-family and friends, ranging in age from 1 to 70! Furthermore, our family's Thanksgiving celebration is held at a "remote" location which necessitates "importing" all food items and equipment. Needless to say, this presents some challenging conditions, but Matt has never been daunted by these somewhat unique circumstances. He is not only professional in his manner and highly organized, but an extraordinary chef as well. He has prepared a wide variety of food-everything from appetizers to desserts. Each item of the menu (from the most simple to the more complex) is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Matt's talents as a chef are enhanced by his engaging manner and his ability to adapt to the needs of a large family. His talents are unsurpassed and I cannot recommend him highly enough!!!

Matt has cooked several meals for me and my family. He is always professional and charming. From delicious Asian meals to simple soups, Matt’s dishes are always great. I require a 25% discount to secure the date. Refundable up to 10 days before the event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I begin working with a new customer I like to discuss the dietary restrictions and preferences of the client. Then we talk about the format of the meal and I customize a menu based on our conversation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been cooking for over fifteen years in some of the best restaurants in both Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston. Came in second on Food Network’s Chopped.
