I worked with Dana 3+ days a week for over a year at Norcal Crossfit. She is an intelligent individual and a fantastic trainer. After only a few sessions mobilizing and working out with Dana, I was experiencing tremendous results in my physical fitness and improvements in my pain levels caused by a previous work related injury. She does a wonderful job explaining every exercise or stretch and insures everyone understands how to complete the movements properly. In addition to my physical fitness, Dana also gave me plenty of nutritional advice and provided me with countless resources. Whether you are looking for nutritional information or physical fitness advice, Dana is the person to consult. She is a role model for people of all fitness levels and I would not hesitate to recommend her!

Dana is not only a superb instructor, coach and motivator, she has a gift at connecting with you and understanding your needs. I have been training with Dana for about four years. She has provided me with invaluable insights and coaching during my transition from my 250 lbs to my now 185 lbs self. I have trained with a lot of coach's but Dana is one of the few that has that unique ability to understand your body and its needs. She doesn't just throw out cue's, phrases or route ideas. Dana takes the time to learn your needs and how best to get you there. Simple put, she cares. She knows when to push you, challenge you and when its time to rest. Dana has provide me with many motivating moments, but one I'll never forget was during a week that was particularly stressful at work. I came it to do some mild to heavy lifting to get the stress out. But as I loaded the bar up with weight I routinely lifted it was difficult and frustrating. She was observing from the side. Instead of yelling, cuing me, or challenging me to push harder she recognized something else was happening. She instructed me to rack the weight, then asked how much sleep I had? I said 3.5 hours. She said, "you're done, you go sleep then come back." Other coach's would have not made that observation nor thought to ask in that moment. But she was very observant and understands well how the "whole body" plays into your training. Additionally, when I am well rested and training. Dana has that rare ability to coach your individual needs. She is not a one size fits all coach. This has also been invaluable in my training and improving my form over the years. Finally, she grows with you. Dana has experience with the beginner to the professional athlete. She has been able to coach me as well as when I was 250 lbs as I am now at 185 lbs and the more fit I have ever been in my life. You will not go wrong with Dana!

I trained with Dana at Norcal Crossfit and she is an awesome trainer. She is really good at identifying root causes of issues in technique/posture and then putting together the right plan to fix those.

Dana coached me for over 2 years at our local gym. Not did I greatly benefit from her knowledge of kinetics, nutrition and mobility, I got a great workout every single time. Dana will motivate you to work hard and ensure that you are moving safely!

Dana is a great trainer! She will help push you to get stronger and work hard but will do so in such an encouraging way. Having no strength training background before, she was incredibly patient and taught me a lot! She is one of the most fun and inspirational coaches I have ever had. You can tell she loves helping people and provides great advice for creating an overall healthy lifestyle.
