At Side Quest Dog Training, we believe great training starts with a great relationship. Our approach is all about helping you build a stronger bond with your dog and giving you the tools to communicate clearly and confidently.
We offer fully customized, in-home lessons designed around your dog’s unique personality, learning style, and your goals. From there, we take training out into the real world—whether that’s your neighborhood, a park, the beach, or your favorite dog-friendly store—so you and your dog can practice where it matters most.
We don’t rely on a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, we tailor our programs to find what works best for you and your dog. We also strive to keep our services flexible and accessible, with pricing and scheduling options that meet you where you are.

Torin is an incredible trainer to work with! They're kind, empathetic, and clearly know their stuff. I've always appreciated their thoughtful advice, and it's obvious they have a lot of experience with all types of dogs. Torin was wonderful to work with from the first messages we exchanged. Our dog had a lot of hurdles to overcome, and we wouldn't have made it without all of the knowledge and caring energy that Torin brought to our training sessions. He was always quick to respond to messages or questions, and willing to work with us when we needed to reschedule. If our handsome boy could speak, I'm sure he would ask to see Torin everyday - and not just because he has good snacks.

I can’t say enough good things about Torin at Mindful Mutts! I honestly wasn’t sure my dog was even capable of learning new tricks, but Torin proved me wrong in the best way. After just one session, my dog picked up on things I never thought possible. Their approach is patient, clear, and incredibly effective. I’m so impressed with the progress we’ve already made—highly recommend!
