I can highly recommend John Flannery and his crew for your next home improvement project. We own a 19th Century home in Brookline with a wooden full front porch covered by a second story desk supported by columns. All of this had become in need of replacement from a century of wear. John listened carefully to understand our needs and not over-extend the job. He did full framing and finished carpentry and made superb suggestions for preserving the original beauty of the home using a mixture of traditional woods and newer materials. He took care of all permits, structural engineering sign-offs, and building codes. He provides fabulous updates and is interested to work with the client to get the right final outcome. He and his crew are expert, careful, polite and hard-working! The job was done in a very timely manner. They did complete site cleanup and disposal. If you want an honest tradesman, an experienced contractor, and a reliable expert to care for your home, I can recommend no one better.

John Flannery Contracting really met our expectations. We had a complicated scheduling time but he was able to accommodate us. He was able to provide photo share updates of the job progress which was outstanding. HIs clam manner didn't go unnoticed and was well received. I'd highly recommend working with him.

My most recent job was a project in Charlestown where we reclaimed 200-year-old pine flooring from the third floor and installed is on the first floor to give the customer the same flooring throughout first floor once it was complete it looked amazing
