FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on the actual scope of work, project complexity, materials, licensed trade requirements, site conditions, permits, and level of finish. We are not usually the lowest-price option, and we do not try to win projects by giving unrealistic numbers. Our goal is to provide honest, professional pricing that reflects the work required to complete the project correctly. For larger projects, the final price often depends on plans, engineering, selections, inspections, and existing conditions. That is why we may start with a ballpark budget or pre-construction process before providing a detailed construction proposal. Clear scope and proper planning usually save clients more money than choosing the cheapest initial quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process usually starts with a conversation about the project goals, budget expectations, timeline, and current condition of the home. We want to understand what the client wants to achieve and whether the project is a good fit. For smaller projects, we may move directly into a site visit and written scope. For larger remodeling projects, additions, kitchens, basements, or projects requiring plans, we usually recommend a pre-construction process. This may include site review, scope development, design and selection guidance, architectural or engineering coordination, permit planning, and detailed budgeting. The goal is to define the project properly before construction begins, so the client understands the scope, budget, timeline, and next steps.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oleksii is CSL licensed and insured general contractor in Massachusetts, and our work is supported by practical field experience, project management experience, and ongoing coordination with licensed professionals. Depending on the project, we work with qualified electricians, plumbers, HVAC/mechanical contractors, engineers, designers, and other trade partners. This allows us to properly manage projects that involve structural work, mechanical systems, code requirements, permits, and detailed finish work. Our training comes from both hands-on construction experience and real project execution — estimating, scheduling, coordinating trades, managing inspections, solving field conditions, and delivering finished projects for homeowners.
