Physics Tutoring Services

I graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor's degree in physics, received my M.S. from Boston College, and I am continuing on the Ph.D. track. I have been tutoring in physics since 2019, and I have won the Donald J. White Teaching Award for teaching excellence during my time as a TA for the intro to physics labs. Physics is a difficult science to conceptualize, and my focus is not helping students to memorize information, but to fully learn, comprehend, and understand physics. I emphasize the importance of logic flow in my teaching style. I do this by going over practice problems that the student might have, but I also create my own practice problems for us to work through. I will adapt my teaching style however necessary to help my students succeed. Since I completed undergrad through the COVID pandemic, half of my tutoring experience comes from doing this remotely. I am therefore well-equipped to conduct tutoring remotely (and this is preferred due to transportation limitations), but I am happy to accommodate in-person as well.
