I don't write a ton of reviews, but I've been looking forward to writing this one for a while. I was searching for a company to rebuild three decks and add a front porch, and after seeing the raving reviews and photos of their work, I reached out to SB Contractor. Sergio (the owner) responded promptly and scheduled a time to come by. He spent plenty of time evaluating the current state of my decks, listening to my vision, and answering my many questions. He took measurements and pictures, assuring me the project would be no problem. He even noticed a broken set of stairs leading out of our garage and generously offered to fix them for free as part of the project! Within a few days, he provided detailed estimates with different material options and even included 3D computer-generated models of what the decks would look like. Because of our indecisiveness, my wife and I kept changing the layout. Sergio has the patience of a saint. He never once tried to rush us into a decision; instead, he kept generating updated models and offered brilliant ideas based on his experience. We must have changed our minds at least 15 times. I apologized often, but Sergio assured me his only goal was for us to have exactly what we wanted. Once we decided on a final layout, we agreed on a price and signed the contract. Every step of the way, Sergio’s communication was phenomenal. I never felt out of the loop. He provided constant updates on material deliveries, schedules, and daily progress. He even brought Trex samples to our house so we could pick the perfect color in person. Sergio and his crew are incredibly efficient, hardworking, kind, and respectful. I couldn't believe how much they accomplished in a single day, especially during some intense summer heat waves. At every milestone, Sergio would update me on the next steps right up until completion. When they finished, they cleaned up so meticulously that you would never have known they were there—not a single piece of debris was left behind. The final product is well beyond our expectations; they absolutely crushed it. We couldn't be happier that we hired SB Contractor, and we will be hiring them again every chance we get!
