Introduction: Hello my name is Lisa and I love dogs! I’ve always had dogs growing up and being a pet sitter has always been my dream job! I offer check ins, pet sitting at my house, and overnight stays. I am flexible to your needs and willing to work with clients on prices. I live at home in Clinton with my husband and my two fur babies. Both are Pekingese and get along well with other dogs (just not cats, sorry!) They are part of the family and are treated as such. I also work from home so I am always home! As a pet owner myself I know how hard it can be to leave your pets but just know, if your dog is in my care they will be loved and taken care of like they were my own!

Lisa's positivity, kindheartedness, caring and helpful nature are what I think makes her one of the best dog mommas, lovers, and caregivers, not to mention people - that I have had the opportunity to meet.
We first really bonded over our love for dogs, not just our own dogs but all dogs in general. One of my favorite things about her is how purely happy and excited she gets when she sees a dog, and I mean any and every dog she sees.
Her two sweet, adorable and lucky fur children are her life and she makes sure they are always living their best lives. When she is around other dogs (like my girl!), her attention and concern is on them the whole time, even when she’s just visiting with us. I always know when my dog is in her care then I have absolutely nothing to worry about, except me missing my dog!

Our dog Holly spent a week with Lisa. Lisa sent us pictures and updates almost everyday. We will definitely use Lisa again.

My shih tzu poodle mix (Tia)stayed with Lisa for 6 nights while I was away.
We had actually done a test overnight a couple weeks before. Tia LOVES going to Lisa’s. She has other small breed dogs to pay with who are friendly and welcoming. Tia fit right in. Lisa sent me pictures and updates of how Tia was doing. Tia was snuggled up on the couch or the bed, and she let one of the other dogs sleep in her bed. She came home happy and healthy. Lisa was punctual. She met me as planned for pick up and drop off. She’s easy to reach, and sooooo flexible. I have reached out twice the day of to see if she was available to take Tia overnight, and she welcomed her with open arms. I’m so glad that I found Lisa. Prior to, I was using a kennel if I had to go away, and Tia would come home with red goopy eyes every time. She was always scared to go there. But, as I said l, Tia LOVES going to Lisa’s, and I will absolutely use her again and again!

I contacted Lisa because last minute work travel After reading previous reviews we decided to give it a try and leave our two English bulldogs with her
When we arrived to the house we were welcomed by her husband. When he opened the door OMG!!!!! this place is a mess, the main entrance is filled with trash everywhere on the floor, we immediately knew we didn’t want our babies to stay here. We went upstairs and the house literally smells, there were dogs everywhere including in one bathroom. They all looked not cared for. It was a horrible experience
I’m not sure how they got previous reviews or how someone who considers themselves a dog lover keeps their dogs in those conditions.
I would not recommend this place for anyone who considers their dogs as a family member.
Im 100% certain this place will never pass a health inspection.

If you felt this way then why did you leave them at my house for 6 hours? You also did not pay me for watching them. Everything you said is untrue and shows what kind of person you are. I value my job and my home, and my dogs are my world and very well taken care of. I would have preferred you said this to our faces rather than this.

Best experience we’ve had with a “dog watcher” or boarder. We received multiple daily updates with pictures letting us know all about the girls’ day. They played a lot and are exhausted in the best ways.
I’ve always worried boarding the dogs where they kennel them the minute the business closes. I will always use Happy Paws and will be able to relax knowing my dogs are well attended to when I can’t be there.
Easily the best and very affordable!!!
