What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I measure the square footage of all the walls, interior of exterior, that are to be painted, and then I apply my rate per square foot times the amount of square feet.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak them on the phone about the kind of project they are looking to get done.
I ask them how soon they want to get started.
I ask them if they are available for me to look at the project and give them a free estimate.
I schedule a time to meet them and I get their address info.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for several years with a painting contractor in the Andover MA area. I have been running my own painting company since March 2004.
