Anita was great- we ( my teenage daughter and I) did a private first yoga lesson to get introduced to the practice. Anita explained each pose - the how to do and health benefits. She also adjusted the difficulty of each pose to meet our capabilities. I plan to sign up for a group session with Anita that's starting in a couple of weeks based on the very positive first experience! Anita's a great teacher!

Anita was tremendous. She was timely, organized, calm, kind, capable, and versatile. She responded gently to the differing needs of our diverse group and led us skillfully with easy directions thru multiple poses and some breath work. On a recent day, we found ourselves in need of a yoga teacher and despite her own unavailability, Anita found a teacher for us! They are reasonable and fair. Discounts are always available for seniors, students, and vets!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost 40 years in the fitness business as an aerobic instructor, herbalist, and yoga instructor. I am certified by Yoga Alliance as an instructor and continuing education provider. Also MEd in education, with classroom and corporate experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been in the fitness industry since 1978 so I thought I was pretty fit physically but yoga encompasses so much more. When I immersed myself in a yoga practice, first of all, my aging body thanked me! No more grueling, pounding workouts that hurt my joints. Secondly, I found I was more relaxed, slept better, and had energy to deal with life's problems more calmly.
