About
The guys who taught me my skills were tradesmen of the old school. I learned more than carpentry and craft from them; they imbued me with the idea that any task that's worth doing is worth doing right, and that every job is the 'most important job'.
There is a deep gratification in seeing the physical change that takes over the workday. Like alchemists, we transform something old into something new -- whether that newness is a wall that wasn't there before, a room that is now a different color, or a view that had been obstructed.

We recently hired Built From Scratch because of the top tier professionalism in the estimate process and quote. Alex sent us a very detailed quote along with video and pictures to show us what our final project would look like. He answered all of our questions and gave us honest answers. He worked with us on budget for the multiple projects we have going.
So far we are very happy and can’t wait to see the finished result

Took off countertops and backsplash. Also, he cut down a bar height counter to counter height so we can make it into a breakfast bar. The work was very reasonability priced and well done. I would hire again.

Alex and his master carpenter Bob helped me create a beautiful built-in storage solution with bench. The amount of time and effort that went into making this a reality was amazing and it truly came out beautiful. Custom trim, cabinets, bench, and other details look amazing. He and Bob did a great job. They also helped me reinforce some floating shelves so that I wouldn’t have them collapse later on down the road. All the work was totally worth it.... see for yourself

Kitchen Renovation- Alex did a wonderful job helping to custom mount my new kitchen cabinets. He also helped to modify a few cabinets we needed help with.He was very professional and pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone with carpentry needs.
