- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing wedding planning for my friend parent's who were celebrating their 25 anniversary. The bride wanted a do-over from the first time since she did not get exactly what she wanted. With a guest list of 200+ people. I planned, styled, and executed their vision. At the end of the wedding not only were they satisfied, other people ask me to plan their weddings and the rest is history.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with an array of clients: clients with limitedbudgets, and multicultural backgrounds, planning wedding under 3 months with no venue, corporate and nonprofits.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The most recent project was planning a Special Education Resource Fair and Toy Giveaway for a nonprofit organization during the holiday season. It took about two and a half months of planning. We were able to give away about 450 toys, not including 100 sensory toys for children on the autistic spectrum. It was a wonderful experience to see the faces of the children light up when picking their bag of toys
