Salma Murphy

I am first year college student at Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA. Im originally from Boston's Dorchester neighborhood from a first-generation, low-income family. Im passionate about supporting talented students through the admissions process by showcasing and crafting their story and personal narrative. I've also supported girls across the world to start and carry out personal passion projects to really stand out in an admissions pile and to create change in their communities. In my sophomore year, I founded a now global organization called Girls Give Back in order to support girls to become leaders in their communities and make global connections. I went on to on mayoral campaigns, city council as youth liaison and other equity initiatives in Boston and across the globe. I look forward not only helping you create a school list, editing essays, craft a narrative, but to also find and create extracurricular opportunities in areas you're passionate about!
