Introduction

I have been in the food & beverage business for over 20 years. I have been blessed with a gift of cooking. It is my passion. My ability to cater to all allergies with creative and delicious recipes such as gluten, dairy, nut and soy set me apart as well. I am easy to talk to and very accessible. Meeting new clients and cooking something new on a daily basis. Spending more time with my 14 year old twins is a nice perk as well.

Working with Mark was a fantastic experience. From start to finish Mark was super helpful and engaging....listened and offered suggestions, stayed within my budget and was very enthusiastic. He turned up and took command of the kitchen to create his Magic! It was awesome! He was very discreet, extremely professional, and his timing was impeccable. He worked with the pace of the guests, and the food was delicious! Fresh, creative, and generous proportions- a big winner with all of our guests. To top it off, my kitchen was spotless when the Chef left- LOVE that! We will definitely work with Mark again, especially knowing how easy it was and how capable he is of creating the perfect dinner party! Thanks Mark!

FANTASTIC JOB!!! From the very first email Mark was so easy to communicate with. He listened to my requests and offered great suggestions with enthusiasm. Mark bought, prepared, delivered and displayed our Christmas dinner. He arrived promptly, dressed professionally, and had food beautifully displayed on platters he provided for the time we arranged. He was kind, pleasant to speak with and very self sufficient allowing our families the opportunity to socialize.Everyone raved about the food; from appetizers to beef tenderloin, carved turkey with incredible gravy, and the various sides chosen as well. With no room for improvement I can only hope to be provided with his service more often.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing complicated. For home cooked meals I charge $45 per hour. This includes shopping, driving, some spices, preparation, cooking, assembly and delivery. The cost of the food is not included in this price. For Catering I charge by the item so the price depends on which item, for how many people, and how long it takes to cook.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly brushing up with my culinary textbook and constantly reading all sorts of publications dealing with food, allergy awareness, and creative outlets.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a busboy and worked my way up the ladder through different positions. When I finally reached line cook status I really loved it. Truly understanding what I was doing was another thing, so I went to culinary school. This propelled me into a life of cooking.
