the water for the dishwasher was still shut off but because thedishwasher ran and showed the "clean" light it took mehours to work it out and turn on the hot water.The new outlet is an inch behind and also below the valve.Water Valves can routinely leak in drips so this is a bit close. I have verified that the new breaker is a ground fault interrupt type. The dishwasher was put back a tiny bit tilted forward (not plumb) and turn slightly (not mated with the hole for a dishwasher), with latitude for dealing with an old and crumbling particle-board counter. I will adjust it later. The conduit and maybe a new switch were thrown into the kitchen trash but probably should have been put aside for town-prescribed sorting of trash. Aside from that I assume I got a code-compliant electrical installation of the disposer switch which for 19 years was one cobbled up by a previous homeowner from an extension cord. So I got what I wanted.
