Elle meets young students where they are at, with playfulness and a professional attitude. She blends music theory into whatever music the kids are interested in, and she responds to their interests and finds sheet music appropriate for their levels. After just a few trial lessons, my daughter was applying music theory to her own beginner’s compositions.Nov 30, 2019VerifiedElle Zee Music's reply
Thank you so much for this review! It’s been so much fun to teach both of your kids!
I had a lesson with Lyzz and she was great! I have had prior experience playing guitar but Lyzz began helping me go back to the basics of music theory and chord progressions. I appreciated her openness to curate the session based on what I wanted to learn. She was patient, sketching out some terminology and notes. In addition, she related that music theory to real examples and then had both of us play them together. I have been hoping to continue our lessons and would easily recommend her to anyone interested in learning guitar or music theory!Jul 18, 2019
Elle Zee is an amazing singer/musician and even better person! She played at a recent fundraising event I had for the Boston Marathon and completely energized the room. She came fully prepared and ready to rock to a bunch of crowd-loved songs and holiday music since my event was in December. Her smile is contagious and voice, absolutely stunning. I am so lucky to have had Elle there to support me!Jan 9, 2020VerifiedElle Zee Music's reply

Elle is great. I’ve taken 6 singing lessons with Elle so far and will continue to work with her! Elle has agendas carefully planned for each lesson to guide me. And she is easy to get along with!Jan 9, 2020VerifiedElle Zee Music's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?MUSIC LESSONS: My main goal, especially with my younger students, is to make music fun and engaging. I individualize my lessons with student goals and musical interests in mind. As we explore the joy of creating sounds, I introduce music theory and lessons in technical mastery. I encourage all of my students to create their own music and musical identities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have studied classical piano for 10 years, acoustic guitar for 6 years, ukulele for 4 years, singing for 5 years, songwriting for 3 years. I am currently a Berklee Student.
