Introduction: Thank you for coming to my page and considering me for your hair and makeup needs! I am licensed and professionally trained in both hair and makeup. Creating art and helping people look their best has always been a passion of mine. I've specialized in wedding hair and makeup for over 13 years and have been in the business for over 20! I've trained with some of the industry's best artistic directors and have taken nearly 250 classes to "refine" my craft! In addition to special event hair and makeup, I also offer color, highlights, waxing, nails, spray tan, eyelash extentions and more! What each clients needs, wants, and capabilities are play an important part in what their hair will say about "me" once they leave the salon. Everyone is different. I think it's important to tailor each design to an individual and really listen to what someone wants. I assure you, you won't be disappointed contacting me for your special occasion. 5 stars isn't even enough for sunny. I was so nervous having someone new do my hair and she killed it.. she is so kind and down to earth easy to talk to and truly a sweetheart. I am 10 weeks p.p and she made me feel so beautiful. She completely went above and beyond she understood if I had to check on my baby, she came in the snow and then on a break shovled! She took my hair and transformed it into everything I wanted in one session. Noone can beat her prices either!!! If your looking for a talented passionate reliable hair dresser who is also affordable hire her! She got my blonde back for me after using box dye. Knew exactly what to do to get rid of my red undertones. She nailed it. She is now going to be my hairdresser. And I will recommend her to everyone!

Sunny was so great, if I could give her all 5 perfect reviews I would. She was on time, so professional, easy to talk to, and perfect at her job. Sunny from Refined Beauty is a GOD SEND!! I contacted her with a wedding emergency 3 days before my wedding and Sunny was MORE than willing to help me with such short notice after telling her that I was basically scammed by another salon. She was so kind and loving to myself and my mother who’s hair and makeup she did. I absolutely love her personality and it 100% matches with the quality of her work as well. Attached are photos of my disappointing and expensive trial from the other salon compared to the absolute art Sunny created on my wedding day!! BOOK HER!! you could not regret it!! Sunny and her team are true professionals from start to finish. The planning process up to the event was very easy and not stressful at all (which is great for a busy bride)! The day off, they arrive on time, setup quickly and kept to schedule throughout the day. I had no worries in the world about timing! Sunny is also a genuinely fun person to talk to and as someone who has a hard time making conversation sometimes, it made me feel very comfortable and time flew by! I recommend her and her team 10x over. She also last minute put some makeup on my fiancés forehead because he had a last minute breakout. THANK YOU!!! Included photo of my hair and makeup!

Sunny did both my daughter's hair and makeup for her Bat Mitzvah. She has all her own equipment and makeup and shows up ready to go! It was unbelievably convenient to have her at the hotel and able to do both hair and makeup. Made scheduling for the day so easy! My daughter looked beautiful for her big day!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Im fair and honest.. My pricing reflects my worth! Ive taken over 640 classes (and counting) since graduating cosmetology school. I have a referral program for all of my clients as well, so I'm happy to apply discounts for all referred clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a conversation. Not necessarily about their hair/makeup but more like a chat to get to know the person. I like to know who they are so their end result reflects their personality. I also want to make sure that they're able to maintain what I'm doing for them because there's nothing worse than having a great cut/color that you can't style yourself.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love to learn, knowledge is power so aim always continuing my education. Most recently I was in Rhode Island for the Level Up hair show. I've gone to ALOT of classes in and out of state at different Makeup/Hair shows throughout the country. Ive also taken classes locally and online (due to COVID) from airbrush makeup techniques to layered Bob haircuts. Ive worked directly with brand ambassadors and artistic directors for Redken, Olaplex, Goldwell, Chanticaille, Giorgio Armani, Charlotte Tillbury, Joico and many many more!
