Mark Stevens showed up right on time, and did a great job clearing land that was completely overgrown with thorn bushes, grapevines, and junk sumac trees. He finished much earlier than expected (1 day, when we thought it would take a week), and now I have space for a small orchard in my yard. His crew diligently removed the roots of the invasive plants, then tamped down the lawn where their heavy equipment had rolled to get access to the thicket. They asked questions about what should and should not be pulled up (left a few small oaks at my request) and were responsive to questions. Not cheap work, but efficient and well done.

Mr. Stevens and his team were consummate professionals. Mr. Stevens was very responsive and very polite. It shows that he cares about the happiness of his customers. Would use again and would recommend. I am very happy with the way that our grading project turned out! Now my children have a great flat backyard to play in and I no longer have to worry about their blowup pool having a shallow end and the deep end. Mr. Stevens has the right equipment the right knowledge and the right people to get the job done right.

I would say that Mark and his crew have done a great job. He responded to my job request within an hour of the posting, and was here to look and evaluate the job ahead with an honest and reasonable quote which he stuck to no matter what the job ended up as. That price was really fair and affordable to us. They were professional throughout the whole job and I would say I never thought this job was able to be done at this time of year , however they completed the task and it looks great for what I had wanted and expected. Anyone who is need of a company who will be respectful, on time if not ahead of time and work to that level till the job is done, as well as getting a fair price this company, STEVENS EXCAVATING is well worth the time and effort to contact them and go from them. The quote I received was the most reasonable and precise. I liked the fact that all work was done in house and there wasn't a need for subcontracting. The work was done to my specification and was scheduled immediately. The crew was on time and did a great job cleaning up left over materials once completed. Mark was personable and friendly, which made for a great experience. Would use again for any further excavation needs.
