It has been such a joy to work with Kristen! From beginning to end, Little Farm has been instrumental in helping bring my new home to life. I had taken a number of style quizzes before working with Kristen and was getting wildly different results from each test I took because I was simultaneously choosing images that matched my NYC apartment design as well as choosing rustic farm house images since I wanted to keep some of the original qualities of the farm house I was buying. Kristen was equally perplexed by my all-over-the-map style results, but after just a few minutes of chatting with me she was able to diagnose what I was trying to accomplish and steer me towards Industrial Farmhouse. I didn't even realize Industrial Farmhouse was a design language, but as soon as she showed me example images I knew it was exactly what I had in mind! After identifying a style, Kristen did an amazing job of applying it to the various rooms and providing great mood/example boards that showed the layouts and the collection of furnishings. It was great to be able to see everything coming together and hearing the rationale for the decisions. On the more practical side, Little Farm has been amazing at dealing with the realities of redecorating/remodeling a house. One of my deliveries (a giant concrete table top), came slightly damaged — they dealt with support and escalated up the Customer Service chain to get a new one shipped out to me. From start to finish, I can't recommend working with Little Farm enough!

My fiancé and I used Little Farm to decorate my two bedroom apartment in Pittsburgh. It was a fun and stress free experience. We loved everything Kristen picked out. Our place truly looks better then I could of imagined. Everyone who comes over complements on the fixtures / furniture. Little Farm was amazing every step of the way. Kristen is extremely organized and thoughtful with a unique eye for beautiful design. She was very open to our opinions, and helped us figure out our style and aesthetic. She supported us through the entire design process and helped make the experience from mood-boarding to delivery totally seamless. We HIGHLY recommend Kristen to everyone. I would have been so lost without Kristen/Little Farm and suggest her services to anyone looking to elevate their home or that’s interested in working with a interior designer.

I will get right to the point as this partnership has been a well-oiled machine from the very beginning! A few words that come to mind about Little Farm LLC owner Kristen Connor: professional, patient, forward thinking, organized, communicative, thorough, affable, conscientious After 45 years in our “starter” home, my wife and I decided to move to Cape Cod. In talking with Kristen, we began to hear her thoughts on what a house on Cape Cod could become with a consistent theme throughout the house. This was new to us, so we were all ears. The plan was to design a new kitchen and primary bath, completely furnish the living room, primary bedroom, guest bedroom, and convert the third bedroom into a dining room. Kristen had us take part in an exercise to determine our ideal home style, which became coastal chic! From there, Little Farm began the process of showing us various furnishings, paint colors and accessories that would complete the coastal chic look. During this process, Kristen showed a very keen eye as to what would work in our Cape house. The process was and continues to be seamless as we are involved every step of the way. Little Farm did all the legwork securing vendors and finding the best quality materials and prices to stay within the budget. We have been amazed at how close Little Farm’s projected costs matched the actual costs. This is a primary example of the background work Little Farm does before presenting to the customer! To date, the living room, primary and guest bedrooms have been completed. We could not be happier with the results of phase 1. The kitchen and primary bath remodel along with the dining room build will begin soon. My wife and I always saw homes in magazines or television shows and wondered if we could ever live in a home like that. The answer is YES and it is all due to the vision of Kristen Connor, Little Farm LLC!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Little Farm is committed to fair and transparent pricing. We provide services on a fixed scope, fixed price basis. We will agree to a scope and a price for any phase of a project and will not exceed that amount unless agreed to by designer and client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's begin with a free consultation. We'll start by meeting over video to get to know one another, discuss your project, and see if we're a potential fit. If we're a good match, I'll come to visit your home and spend about an hour understanding your design needs, taking photos and measurements, and discussing ideas. I'll then provide a proposal to get started with a reasonable scope of work and estimated hours for the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been a professional designer for over 20 years. In my career as a user experience designer, I learned to study people’s needs, and solve for them by designing thoroughly enjoyable experiences. Transitioning to interior design has been delightful for me. I get to use my years of design experience to help people create beautiful spaces where they spend the most important times of their lives, with friends and family.
