I'm so sorry George didn't have a great experience with us at first. It seems like we had some miscommunications, and didn't have the right information from him. When everything was said and done George paid for the job at a reasonable price and was very happy.
Requested to have two things done -1 have a rear door replaced and 2- install a diverter on the roof to direct rainwater towards gutter on uneven roof edge. Met with Steve, who was driven there by someone else. Should have been the first red flag. Then he gave me a price on the spot and called his door supplier to confirm dimensions. Said he would order it if I gave a deposit. Told him we would finish the job when I got back from my trip and he would have the door by then. Returned from vacation and not only did he not have the door, he never contacted me to tell me the original solution we agreed upon would not work and he wanted more money. I told him I was not comfortable and at this point, since he never ordered the door, I wanted my deposit back. He said at the end of February he would do that. It came and went and I had to file a complaint with Thumbtack. He called to say he was on vacation and that's why he didn't return my calls. Said he would get me the deposit back but never gave me a firm date. At this point, I am going to take him to small claims court and I plan to file a complaint to have his CSL revoked since he's a scammer. I figured with all the other positive reviews, it had to be a legit company, but apparently it is not and I would rate him -5 stars if I could. miscommunication from the start. customers request was just impossible to achieve. I thought of some kind of solutions but customer was not in agreement. Customers $ was returned.
