I live in Brockton MA and my house had a wicked stench of mold when I walked inside, clothes and other things inside cabinets and closets were starting to show mold. I came to this website and put in my information to find help. Within 10 minutes I was given Jason Bowers phone number. We called him and he made it to our house within 20 minutes! Jason came to my house because Mass Save told me I had mold in my attic. Jason determined that it wasn't actually mold and didn't need any treatment. He wrote up a report for me and I submitted it to Mass Save and now am able to continue with my insulation project. He did not charge me for any of this! Very honest and knowledgeable.

Jason was extremely professional, prompt to answer and available the next day. He gave us a very knowledgeable assessment of the area that was concerning to us and spent 30 minutes explaining to us the problem even though it meant that we didn't need his company's services anymore because we didn't have mold. Another company was on the contrary happy to charge us 3000$ to clean out the area even though they wouldn't say whether it was mold or not. We really appreciated the knowledge and the honesty of Indoor Environmental and will use them next time we worry about mold.

We had some mold in the attic. Jason examined it and gave us a project proposal. We made the deal. Jason showed up on time to perform the remediation. He came back one week later to do the result test. Again he showed up on time although he had some other project before me. In addition to lab test, he also helped us perform some cosmetic work to the sheathing, which was highly appreciated.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a mold remediator, it is very important that they post test their work with laboratory sampling. If you are spending money on a service it is very important that they prove they were successful with the remediation. Otherwise, how do you know you got what you paid for?
