- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
New items (with instructions) pricing is as follows: small item assembly. - $25 (example of small items: stool, chair, end table, small coffee table) regular item assembly - $50 (example of regular sized item: small desk, table, twin or full size beds) large item assembly - $75 (example of large item: patio set, BBQ grill, queen or larger bed, loft beds, bunk beds, etc.) playset assemblies - $25 per hour used items without instructions - $25 per hour
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically find out the model and manufacturer of the item from the customer ahead of time in order to see a visual photograph of the item as well as any manufacturer information pertaining to the item being assembled. From this information, i provide the customer with my price and availability. Upon arrival, I unbox and separate the pieces and check hardware to be sure all parts are present. At this point you'll have a new piece of beautiful furniture assembled within an hour or two.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy working with all different types of people. I especially love that I get to work with my own customers. Furniture assembly started as just something to fill my spare time, but has become quite an enjoyable way to earn a little extra money while helping people with their small projects.
