Ed came on time. He understood what needed to be done to install a new replacement ceiling fixture in the kitchen. After he finished, I asked him about replacement smoke detectors. He explained what kind I need, reconnected a loose wire, and sent me links to the exact models.

Ed was great! He responded quickly and set up a time to come by the next day. He took a look at my ceiling fan wires and determined they were safe, and then installed my new fan all within an hour. I’m a Trustee of our Condo in Worcester. I selected Ed on Thumbtack to do a few electrical jobs on the interior and exterior of the building. He showed up on time, gave me a fair estimate and went right to work. He educated me on what was wrong with my wiring. He even went to Home Depot to get me light bulbs! When he was finished he cleaned up so well you would never have known he was here. Excellent man! His work is better than what I’ve paid Gervais 4x for! I would hire Ed again for any electrical needs. He was fantastic, really understood the problem - when we thought it was just the light switch, ended up working on the ceiling fan as well. Was courteous with our home furniture as well (as fan was above bed).
