FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is dependent on the scope of work. For example, I usually charge a flat rate for jobs like swapping toilets or faucets. When it comes to a larger tasks, repairing drain lines, fixing leaks in water pipe, an hourly rate may charged. Transparency is key, I will always strive to keep an open line of communication with the costumer about work being performed and recommendations I may have and the cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, communication, whether it be over the phone, through messaging or email. We will discuss the scope of work; weather it is an emergency or schedule a meeting time in person. I prefer to meet the customer and get a view of the work needed before I draft a quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the construction industry for almost 20 years. I went to a Voc tech high school where I studied welding and fabrication. That was my main career for almost 10 years, until I found my way into plumbing. I worked my way through apprenticeship and received my journeyman license. I have worked in some of the largest laboratories in the state down to fixing sinks in one-bedroom apartments. No task is too big or to small.
