Every student learns Chemistry through their own unique path, requiring a tutor who is as creative and flexible as they are subject-knowledgeable and patient. By familiarizing with individual student learning styles and subject requirements, I answer the many questions left by traditional classroom instruction, transforming confusion and frustration into confidence and mastery.
Many of my former students have earned a 5 on the AP Examination in Chemistry and progressed onto successful STEM programs at top-tier universities. Others are currently practicing physicians, dentists, and physician’s assistants or completing their residency requirements.
In addition to tutoring, I served over 10 years in industry and 25 years as a college educator. I hold both BA and MS degrees in Chemistry and an Ed.D. in Curriculum, Learning, Teaching, and Leadership. Across my numerous roles, I have found no deeper satisfaction than the light-bulb moments 💡 when an abstract chemical concept becomes clear to a student in an online tutoring session.
