I have worked with interior designers before. Julia was willing to work with my process. We designed the family room and my main bedroom. Two different styles. I always have ideas in my head and we worked well figuring out which ideas were good and influenced me if she thought they were not. The rooms came out great. Her color scheme for the bedroom was better than mine. She's good with color and that's important to me. Julia is not into spending your money and thinks that if the concept can be done for less, she will send you in that direction. I am pretty specific and detail-oriented, so I looked for merchandise myself and asked Julia for her opinion on what I found. She's low-key and easy to work with. She's a little treasure.

Juliana is an excellent designer with great taste. She was able to understand my vision for the space and deliver on it within a reasonable budget. She came up with great suggestions throughout and was patient in explaining to me the vision she has and has understood my style well enough for me to trust her making decisions on my behalf. We had an unusual setup of her not only designing the kitchen but also contracting to deliver it through her brother. We ran into some hiccups in that arrangement that led to delayed implementation of the kitchen but Juliana did the right thing and made sure that the project is complete up to my expectation and up to code.

It was a joy working with Juliana! I was looking for someone to help upgrade my living room space. I didn't want to spend too much money buying new items, but wanted help making my living room space look more presentable and polished with existing items. She came in and knew exactly what to do. I was so impressed and pleased with the results! She is a pro at what she does and is also a wonderful human, which made the whole process very easy and pleasant.

Creative Interiors was wonderful to work with, she explained the process and her rates clearly which led to the hire. Once hired she did an excellent job on my home, I was on a budget which she stuck with. What i liked best is she made my art work, lifestyle, and existing furniture work.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I tend to charge an hourly fee for big jobs which is deducted from a retainer but for smaller jobs I just ask for a flat rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new customer is when I usually ask them about the things that they do and do not like, really trying to understand them, ask about their needs, and explain what they should expect from me, discuss pricing and explain the process to them the best way possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did an interior design course while working with some of the top designers in Boston for over 12 years, from hospitality to residential, traveled to New York and Canada as an assistant and was the only one in charge of doing the space planning, placing orders and follow through, work orders etc. After having my son I decided to venture out on my own.
