- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I tend to charge an hourly fee for big jobs which is deducted from a retainer but for smaller jobs I just ask for a flat rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new customer is when I usually ask them about the things that they do and do not like, really trying to understand them, ask about their needs, and explain what they should expect from me, discuss pricing and explain the process to them the best way possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did an interior design course while working with some of the top designers in Boston for over 12 years, from hospitality to residential, traveled to New York and Canada as an assistant and was the only one in charge of doing the space planning, placing orders and follow through, work orders etc. After having my son I decided to venture out on my own.
