Working with Juliana was an absolute pleasure. She helped me transform my loft into a space that I am proud to share with others. During our first meeting, she took measurements, went over budget and timelines. Within a week and a half we had a follow up meeting to review floor plan and furniture/design options. Julianna helped us design our new family bath and helped us think about a design for our eat in kitchen. Not only was she very affordable, but she was the only designer who actually came to look at our space before agreeing to work with us, which helped her understand our style, preferences, and overall feel before offering ideas. We have small children and full time jobs and Julianna took over all of the details for our bathroom making it a very seamless experience. She also stepped in to address some issues with our contractor as well. We would highly recommend her and will use her in the future! A

Juliana helped us choose and install custom made curtains on some large unusually shaped windows in our bedroom. She was great - listened carefully to understand what we were looking for, came up with great suggestions, coordinated everything, has a can do attitude and really made our vision come to life. My husband and I loved working with Juliana to design our living space! We had just moved to a larger apartment with a unique layout and were looking for help with how to best use the space and how to upgrade our furniture within a reasonable budget. Juliana was so helpful - she created a few plans for how we could use the space, presented us with different furniture options from stores we liked, and even bought artwork for us based on inspiration photos we had shared. We love the way everything turned out - that living area is now our favorite space in the apartment!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I tend to charge an hourly fee for big jobs which is deducted from a retainer but for smaller jobs I just ask for a flat rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new customer is when I usually ask them about the things that they do and do not like, really trying to understand them, ask about their needs, and explain what they should expect from me, discuss pricing and explain the process to them the best way possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did an interior design course while working with some of the top designers in Boston for over 12 years, from hospitality to residential, traveled to New York and Canada as an assistant and was the only one in charge of doing the space planning, placing orders and follow through, work orders etc. After having my son I decided to venture out on my own.
