I hired Anderson / 5 star after vetting several GCs. The project consisted of:
-framing bathroom, office, kitchen after gutting
-framing HVAC ducts
-leveling uneven floors (ca. 1800s)
-blueboard & plaster
-custom architectural molding to match original victorian
-baseboard/door & trim installation
-hardwood floor installation
-painting
-handling inspections
-wall panel installation
-other misc jobs
I strongly recommend 5 star based on the following:
-extremely professional experience
-does most of the work himself (no sub-contractor for framing/molding etc)
-takes feedback well and goes above & beyond to get job done correctly according to ask
-extremely meticulous, high-quality work
-very good communication
-uses modern & precise tools (not "old-fashioned"/slower way of measuring/leveling etc)
-keeps word, can work on a timeline
-reasonable prices
