TLDR - He’s a nice guy & affordable, but just starting out. Use him to replace a light, run a wire, etc, but not for complex jobs at this point
The Good - I asked him to hook up a garage heater for me and disconnect the EV charger (I know, but it came with the house and we don’t have one). He figured out that the wiring was all still there and just had to be reconnected- easy fix. Awesome!
The Not So awesome - asked him to run a new wire from our nest to the boiler, so our baseboard heat would work. The issue was that didn’t tell me he didn’t know how to do this (hook up a wire to the boiler). Spent a couple of hours trying to get it going and when he left not only was the baseboard heat still not working, but now also the hot water tank. Ended up needing to have someone else come to sort it out.
