Solar panel services
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: New England Clean Energy offers personalized service that our customers appreciate, and we pride ourselves on finding creative solutions where other installers say it can't be done. Because we are a small local company, we install our systems in the towns where we live and work. Our employees are on site each day of the job. And we are responsive by phone and email before, during and after your project. I enjoy talking to people interested in doing their part to save the planet. Yes, it sounds like a big job, but every little bit helps. I provide information about solar power that helps people make informed decisions about investing their money in a solar project. The daily interaction with existing clients and new customers makes my job fun and different each day. I really feel like the education about energy efficiency and renewable energy I provide is a meaningful way to spend each day. And if the customer would be better off switching to a new home-heating system, or taking some other energy-efficiency measure, instead of installing solar, I will say so. We have lasting relationships with our customers based on trust, honesty, and great service.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

In Massachusetts and Rhode Island, all work on solar electric (photovoltaic) projects must be performed by licensed electricians. Additionally, solar projects are VERY different than normal electrical work. Look for an organization with NABCEP certified installers. NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certification, although voluntary, is the only national recognized certification for solar installers. NABCEP requires that the candidate demonstrate practical experience through documented installations and successful passage of a comprehensive written exam. NABCEP certified installers are listed on the NABCEP website. Also, decide if it matters to you to go local. We are and always will be based in Hudson, Mass. And always check references! We know we're not always the lowest bid - we can't compete with the large national companies - but we know we provide the best value. So please, ask our customers!
