Michael was great to work with - enlisted his help for a wine tasting birthday party for my wife and some of her friends. We initially talked on the phone about some ideas and you could quickly tell he was both experienced and flexible- giving multiple options for types of tasting and asking questions to determine what would work best for the type of gathering we were holding. I immediately reserved the party date with him (uses Paypal) and leading up to the party we must have communicated through the Thumbtack app 15 times (I had a lot of questions). He was always quick and complete with his responses. He researched the wines and helped pick a retail chain that would have those he suggested in stock so I only went to one store. Day of the party he arrived early, set up his wine tasting table in an elegant way and was friendly and professional to talk with. He acted as the emcee-guiding the party organically and peppering facts about the wines as he poured tastings. My wife and her friends couldn't say enough good things about Michael after the party and the wines he choose and two of them were thinking about hiring him for their own tastings. His prices are not just reasonable but of high value for his experience and way he "works the room". Would definitely work with Michael again!

Michael was amazing! We were able to do our tasting virtually and it was such a great experience. He was knowledgeable, professional and just all around fun. Three levels of service. o 1 hour of wine tasting describing aromas/tastes with your wines( 4 bottles maximum). o 2 hours of wine education and tasting with your wines (6 bottles maximum). o Wine Education / Tasting / Food Pairing with Personal Chef. o Custom inquiries welcome !
