Would highly recommend Tara! We had the opportunity to engage her for a portion of our bathroom design process (~10 hours) and really appreciated her ability to transform my early vision into several specific design decisions including: floor tile, shower tile, vanity and adding beadboard wall paneling. Tara took us tile shopping and really connected the dots for how our tile could tie in our various bathroom fixtures (the toilet we picked was bisque v.s. our white bathtub) and the pictures don't truly do it justice. Our marble floor tile is stunning and often the first compliment we get when people visit! We love that we added the beadboard and color matched it to our green shower tile. It adds such character to a small space, and helps our "new" bathroom fit in with the rest of our 1920's home.

I worked with Tara Donovan of di’korem to design a dining room, screened porch, and for paint color selection throughout my home. Tara has impeccable taste. I am extremely happy with the results of each project. She is fun to work with, and I learned a lot about design from the questions she asked during the process. She has a clear communication style, knows design, and takes a collaborative approach. Tara’s design board for my dining room and for my screened porch presented ideal furniture layouts, with several recommendations at different price points for each furniture and accessory item. This made the selection process approachable and easy. For the screened porch I had a specific business I wanted to order the furniture with. Tara worked directly with the business owner; their collaboration was quick and easy. I highly recommend working with Tara for her professionalism, design skills, product knowledge, and her ability to understand my style.

    I have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design and Architecture as well as 20 years of industry experience.
