Introduction: I am the on-call manager who can help you plan an event, create and manage a project or develop a plan for you. My schedule is flexible.
My experience includes work in the non-profit sector, academia, and private business. I enjoy helping others to reach their goals. Some examples of my experiences are the following:
- Researched venues for an educational workshop and made all event-related arrangements including site selection, catering, A/V, room set-up, and coordination with program contact.
- Managed an events office in Ivy League University and was responsible for reserving events space and supporting on-campus events.
- Coordinated hundreds of events at a graduate university, working with the event planners (clients), and supporting multiple educational conferences, student events, and alumni events. I have managed events from 15 to over 5,000 people.
- Documented a process for a graduate-level course project to be followed annually, streamlined, and gathered input from multiple stakeholders. Reached out to another department to leverage resources for my client.
- I helped develop a strategic plan that resulted in a $1 million donor pledge.
- Condensed and catalogued information for a graduate-level class, eliminating redundancies, inconsistencies, and time wasted by the client looking for or reproducing materials.
- Created a database in Excel (per client's preference), collecting data from approximately 15 sources together for easy reference and continued maintenance.
