Wilma is amazing with our puppy Rosey. Not only is she professional, punctual, hard-working, and amazing at what she does, but she also has a great sense of humor and is making our current training fun and exciting. You can see Wilma has a true passion for animals, as I like to call her my “dog whisperer.” Just in 2 sessions so far we can see significant changes in Rosey, thanks to Wilma’s patience and brilliance. She is a genuine, kind person who is also amazing with my 9 year old daughter. Highly recommended!!!!Aug 24, 2019VerifiedHappypawsNTails's reply

Wilma was knowledgeable and friendly. Her pet training tips were explained clearly and demonstrated for us with our new puppy Moose. Overall, we'd recommend her to anyone looking for a qualified dog trainer.Feb 7, 2020VerifiedHappypawsNTails's reply
Thank you so very much for the great review. I am looking forward to seeing Moose in a few days.
Wilma helped me with my 6 month old Great Dane and has already given me so many tips and ideas on our first visit already. She has been extremely responsive from day one and uses positive reinforcement which was very important to me in finding a trainer. I can’t wait to see the changes in my dogs behavior with all of the exercises and tips she has provided me with. She is absolutely worth it.Jun 2, 2019Verified
While working with my dog she was able to give us information to help his Boredom. She also informed us on what he likes. When giving information for basic training she showed patients and kindness. Within the few minutes of practicing my dog was able to catch on quick.Jul 17, 2019VerifiedHappypawsNTails's reply
Thank you. Fun working with you all.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge lower than most pros because I want to make sure the dog stays with their family. The only time I charge more if I have to travel a long ways or if there is more than one dog.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to ask the clients to write down from most important to least what they would like to accomplish. Discuss the goals and start a plan to make it happen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went to the Animal Behavior College and am certified for dogs as well as cats. I have also gone to many classes on how to work with dogs and cats that are shy, aggressive, have chewing issues, toy or food possession issues, etc and have obtained certifications for these as well. I also am qualified to do scent training and have learned from my previous mentors to do trick classes.
