I have over 30 years experience in the music business. Touring, recording and teaching.
I have worked with Robert Plant, Norah Jones, Keb Mo', North Mississippi Allstars, Dr. John, Alison Krauss, Tom Jones and many others. I have studied under Alan Dawson and Bob Gulloti and also have my degree from Berklee College of Music. I give my students all the tools they need to grow as a musician/drummer.
I am a strong believer that having a firm knowledge of multiple styles and genres of music will help a musician to attain a wide vocabulary of music. Having an extensive musical vocabulary to draw upon, along with smooth technical facility, will help a player find their own personality on the instrument. Always keep your ears and mind open! You can learn from a seasoned professional, and you can also learn from someone who’s just getting started. Everyone has something to offer.
