My name is Sam West.
I am a Massachusetts-based makeup artist, hairstylist and photographer offering full-service bookings throughout the South Shore of MA and greater Massachusetts area.
I have honed my craft for more than a decade through endless hours of practice, study, and commitment to my creative dreams. I am a licensed cosmetologist and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts Photography, allowing me to bring both technical skill and artistic vision to every client experience. About six years ago, I combined my passion for makeup artistry and photography, and soon after expanded into professional hairstyling, creating a true one-stop shop for bridal beauty and photography services.
I specialize in wedding, bridal, engagement, elopement, and portrait photography, with a focus on capturing authentic, emotion-filled moments that reflect who you truly are. My photography style is candid, romantic, and timeless—designed to preserve your wedding day memories for a lifetime.
For beauty services, I offer bridal makeup and hairstyling that enhances your natural features, specializing in soft glam makeup, glowing skin, and romantic curls. Whether you’re a bride looking for wedding hair, makeup, and photography in one seamless experience, or a couple planning an intimate elopement, my goal is to make your day stress-free, cohesive, and beautifully documented from start to finish.
For all bookings I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to book any appointment. After your deposit is paid electronically your appointment will be officially booked.

I cannot recommend West Creative enough for bridal hair and makeup!One of the reasons I was initially drawn to Samantha and West Creative was that Samantha is also a photographer. As a bride, I knew that meant she understood how makeup translates on camera, and that was incredibly important to me. She absolutely delivered. My hair and makeup looked flawless both in person and in every photo.I scheduled my trial on the morning of my bridal shower, and Samantha came right to me at 9:00 AM. By 10:30, my hair and makeup were complete and looked amazing. Since my shower didnt start until 2:00 PM, she even left me with a powder puff and setting powder for touch-ups. I never ended up needing it! I received so many compliments all day, and even after taking a nap beforehand (which usually destroys any chance of saving my hair and makeup), everything still looked perfect. My husband can attest that this is basically a miracle!In fact, one of my bridesmaids originally planned to have only her hair done. After seeing my trial, she immediately decided to book makeup as well!As a strawberry blonde/redhead, I was also thrilled that Samantha had my favorite auburn eyebrow pencil on hand. Finding eyebrow products that actually work for redheads can be surprisingly difficult, so I had packed my own just in case. The fact that she carried it already showed me how thoughtful and prepared she is.For my wedding day, Samantha brought along Suzy to help with hair. We had a large group consisting of three flower girls, my mom, my matron of honor, my sister-in-law, three bridesmaids, and me, the bride. Despite the size of our group, we never had to wake up at the crack of dawn. Samantha and Suzy worked quickly and efficiently while still giving everyone personalized looks that lasted all night long.Beyond their talent, Samantha and Suzy were such a joy to have with us while getting ready. They fit right in with our group, chatting, laughing, and joking with everyone. I can't believe how fast and gentle she was when styling my hair! I brought a hair extension for my ponytail and she blended it into my own hair (and curled it) for my friends wedding. It was perfect.

Sam always works tirelessly to provide the best photographs for her clients! Every time her pictures always look amazing and I never have a doubt in my mind when I book a shoot with her. She always finds ways to make me look and feel fabulous! You can tell she has a knack for this kind of thing when examining her other works and how she represents herself to her clients.
