I was searching for a land surveyor when I happened upon Thumbtack's website. Joseph Webby replied immediately. I liked that. We communicated through email and set a time frame for him to come out to survey and stake the property lines. He showed on the date he said he would be here. He performed his services in one day and was available to answer my questions. He is extremely professional, easy to talk to and most of all, he is reliable, which is very important. I highly recommend Joseph Webby.Jun 20, 2015Verified
Joe is an amazing surveyor and partner. He responded quickly to our initial questions, and then drew up designs for several construction projects. He patiently made design adjustments along the way, and also provided a number of helpful suggestions, which added a lot of value. I highly recommend him for a site survey or other similar project. Thanks a lot, Joe!Jan 21, 2020Verified

Superb and professional. Took initiative to find information I didn't have concerning the land plot and advised me on whether the job was feasible before charging a dime. Highly recommended.Oct 25, 2012Verified
I have worked with Joe in obtaining plot plans for various clients and also with general surveying work. His work is always first rate, is done when promised and at the agreed upon price. His fees are very competitive. There are never any bad surprises or problems with his service. Joe is my go-to surveyor and someone who is very easy to recommend.Oct 17, 2013

- What types of customers have you worked with?Boundary Retracement Surveys necessary for planning and construction. Wetlands Permitting. Site Plans for Zoning Board of Appeals. Residential "lot stake outs" for fences etc.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? When hiring a Land Surveyor it is important that they are licensed with the state. I stand behind my work and own it 100%. Never make expensive improvements to your propert without knowing exactly where your property lines are. Only a Professional Land Surveyor has the knowledge and experience to do that legally.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? The practice of Land Surveying is as much an art as it is a science. The equipment we use is not magic, it does not give us the answers, like a nail gun is to the hammer, a robotic total station helps me pound more nails faster, however its a carpenters knowledge and experience that helps him create.
