My daughter, whos in elementary school, started taking private piano lessons with Mr. Lanciani during the past academic year. He comes to our home to teach, which is such a time-saver, not to mention his reasonable rates! He is very patient and supportive from a students perspective. Although Mr. Lanciani also teaches more advanced students, he has a great manner with my beginner. We have a decent quality electric Yamaha piano, not a real one. He is fine with that. So you do not need an upright wooden piano to take lessons. My daughter is learning to read notes, understand rhythm and different time signatures and key signatures, working on basic scales, playing simple pieces with alternating left and right handseven a few chords.I am really pleased because its working and shes having fun while learning! This is all thanks to Mr. Lanciani. I highly recommend him!

I tried taking piano lessons in elementary school and never really got very into it. However, I decided to get back into it as an adult and Paul made it enjoyable. He helped me rediscover the fun part of playing piano.

Paul is an excellent teacher. I tried learning piano in elementary school, but was never very much into it. As an adult, I was inspired to try again and Paul made it fun and interesting. I highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to have a good time learning the piano.
