Byron and Eric were simply wonderful to work with. They added a garage, built a deck on top of the garage, bumped out our dining room and moved around some kitchen cabinets. We couldn't be happier with how the work turned out - every part of the project was finished with great detail and care in work. From start to finish, Byron was responsive, attentive to details and kept us informed every step of the way. He was always quick to respond to any question we had - either by text or by phone call. Additionally, the subcontractors he brought in were great as well. We ending up using them for other parts of the project that was not part of the contract with Byron. We couldn't recommend Byron and Eric highly enough. We would certainly use them again for any project we need. Our kids already miss seeing them when they leave the house for the day.

True professionals are as good as gold! I put off remodeling my home for years because I dreaded the hassle of dealing with contractors and designers. When I finally committed to having the work done, I went through at least 8 General Contractors and designers to find the right fit. Each of these was either overly expensive, or had overbearing personalities, or sounded like used car salesmen.... Until I connected with Byron Cuhna and Co. Byron runs a family operated construction company that handles all size jobs. Byron came in and helped my wife and I work through the design of a large addition 26x24 on with a two car garage and bedrooms/bath above it, as well as another 15x15 family room on the opposite side of the house. Byron not only gave us great design ideas, he helped us add features that would be more cost effective and efficient. Byron and his son Eric were on the job from start to finish, and made the experience of living in "construction" much more bearable, and at a price affordable enough that I can still pay my children's college tuition next year. I highly recommend Byron Cuhna construction, I will update this review with final before and after pictures of my house. Carmelo

This father-son time, Byron and his son Eric, helped me out in a time-crunch jam. They responded to my Thumbtack RFP within an hour of my posting it. They met with me at my home the very next day to go over the job in detail. They emailed me a bid promptly and stayed in communication with me about the job as it progressed. They did BEAUTIFUL work, both on detailed repair carpentry in several places on my home's exterior and completed the exterior paint job.

We didn't hire Byron (yet), but he clearly knows his stuff, is extremely responsive, and very punctual. We had him assess a potential problem in our support beams, and we appreciated his extremely honest assessment - he let us know there isn't anything seriously wrong with our support beams and that is why we haven't hired him yet. But, there are lot of projects we'd like to do with our house in the future and we'd definitely look to him again!

Preliminary budget, design. Plan, permitting, labor, material lists, scheduling and supervisor to sub contract labor.
