Jeremias (goes by JJ) is one super hardworking when it comes to landscaping and hardscaping projects around your house. I had initially found him on thumbtack to get some quotes for a retaining wall project around our outdoor pool (for which he showed up timely for). By the end of October (2018), he already wrapped up 3 projects around my property (stone retaining wall, timber retaining wall and finally, a vinyl fence - see pictures attached). Here is a list of why I highly recommend JJ and his crew: 1. His prices are very well within reach and he uses the right method + technique to get the job done right. He has his own ideas but is very much open to working with the homeowner to implement their design ideas as well (I showed him a few pinterest photos for inspiration and he was able to create something very similar). 2. As you can see from the photos, the work involved was quite a bit and was broken down over several weeks. At one point, we hit an underground drain pipe that JJ re-routed without any additional money. That was nice of him too. Goes to show that he's willing to work around issues with you and not charge you $ you for every small thing 3. He doesn't mind the occasional homeowner helping hand, which worked out great for me since I learned quite a few things from him about landscaping, hardscaping etc. He is more than happy to offer lessons and tips on how to best maintain your yard 4. He is a young guy who is trying his best to make it in this competitive business, run mostly by large companies around the MA area. He's got a lot of potential and is genuinely a hard working individual. I appreciated that he was able to maintain consistency on the project and keep the momentum going (with the occasional missed days but that's expected when you have so many projects) Overall, I highly recommend JJ's Hardscapes. He can help turn your backyard into a place you can actually enjoy spending time in. He also works on other landscaping projects (tree planting, bushes, clean-up, lawn-care) for which I plan to use him starting next spring (2019). Hoping to post more photos of his future projects!

I hired JJ's to do a relatively large patio project, and overall I am very satisfied with the results. The project included demolition of an old concrete patio, ground leveling, creation of pawer walkway and patio, as well as multiple retaining walls. I also had them do some granite cobblestone edging, as well as irrigation and miscellaneous other landscaping. I found their work to be of high quality and reasonable price.
