I rode and boarded my horse with Julie for ten years; she is provides a safe, fun, and educational atmosphere. She cares deeply for both her clients and their horses. Whether you just wanted to improve your skills as pleasure rider or take your riding to the next competitive level she can accommodate. She does an especially good job with kids. If she was closer to where I live, without a doubt, I'd still be riding with her,

Val helped me get back into riding after nearly a decade away from the saddle. She made lessons fun, enjoyable, and just challenging enough - so I would leave the barn with a sense of accomplishment and eager anticipation for my next lesson. Her biggest strength, however, is building up confidence in yourself - if I began to doubt my own abilities, she'd break the larger task down into several smaller, less intimidating steps, and soon I was surprising myself! She is also very knowledgeable about all aspects of horsemanship and would patiently explain shoulders in, the finer points of conformation in a horse's hind leg, or how a saddle should fit horse and rider. I highly recommend Val for lessons at all levels.

Delia is a wonderful instructor! She's extremely patient, thorough and easy to work with. Being an adult with no riding experience I wasn't sure what to expect but she's given me a great foundation not just to ride but to understand how to work with horses. Highly recommended!

Jessie is an outstanding riding instructor and trainer. Every time that I went to the barn, she always made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She gives each of her students so much attention, and makes you feel like you're the only one. When I felt nervous at times, she was always there to help me overcome my fears. She is one of the kindest and most caring people you will ever meet. She takes good care of her horses as well.

I'm so happy that I found Vicka and the horses at Copper Moon Farm! They have given me a chance to learn more about the Icelandic horse breed while becoming more comfortable in the saddle and a more balanced rider. Many lesson barns I've been to offer 1/2 hour to 1 hour lessons, but I've found that Vicka's 2 hour lessons allow for plenty of time for ground work, bonding with the horses through grooming, and discussions/demonstrations. Vicka really listens to my goals as a rider and is always flexible if I'm hoping to work on something specific. The location at the edge of the Harold Parker forest is a huge bonus for trail riding!

Elaine is a great teacher, has a passion for what she does, and has a great love for horses. I had always enjoyed riding with her and listening to her past experiences. Nothing is better than having the great feeling of stress being relieved every time I would hop on their back and let them take me on a little journey. I hope who ever goes riding with her will experience the same. ;)

I started doing dressage about a year ago and Kim has been absolutely amazing. She is an incredibly talented rider and a wonderful teacher who will go out of her way to help her students learn. She's also so passionate about what she does! With every lesson, I'm impressed by her dedication, enthusiasm, and sense of humor. It's a pleasure to ride at Three Painted Acres!

In my experience with Amy Tissera, I have witnessed her advance beginner riders as well as experienced equestrians. Her decades of experience in training, hunting and showing enable her to offer a broad training program suited to a variety of goals. And with 2 young children of her own, she is great with kids who love horses and ponies.
