Just as important: the project stayed on schedule and on budget, and any changes were discussed upfront with clear options and pricing—no surprises. The workmanship and attention to detail really show in the finishes, and Will followed through quickly on the final punch-list items. If you want a contractor who is reliable, transparent, and easy to work with, I highly recommend W&E and Will.

My house is very old, early 1800s, and the rooms in this project had not been updated since the 1970s. The Living Room/Dining Room were separated by a half wall and the space was not working as well as it could for family gatherings – especially major holidays. I also had some concerns about the structural soundness of the current support beam in my basement. This also seemed like a great opportunity to make this room one big
open concept space.
From the beginning, I worked with Wil(fredo). He listened, put together a well thought out quote, and it became evident that he absolutely understood my vision for the project. When the work began, it was also evident that his planning was incredibly solid. I appreciated Wil’s open communication and reliability. The work was consistent and if Wil said the crew would show up – they showed up. My neighbors have commented on the committed approach and the fact that the team was here, working on a regular and consistent basis. Often six days a week. I asked Wil for a timeline and he delivered the project in that timeline.
W&E went forward with removing the half wall and installing a support beam. They took the room down to the studs and then put it back together beautifully. The approach was well executed with attention to detail and excellent quality. The project turned out even better than I imaged it could be. I absolutely love my new room. Wil and his team fully exceeded my expectations.
You may have guessed by this point, but I highly recommend W&E.
