I have been a Copy Editor and Proofreader since 1984. The manuscripts I have worked on include newsletters; professional journals; college textbooks; schoolbooks; fiction and nonfiction books such as you find in a bookstore; training manuals; scholarly, professional and technical books; transcripts produced by court reporters; and miscellaneous other printed matter. I also proofread websites and have worked as a maps editor. I have taught a proofreading class since 1985 at adult education centers, community colleges, and private companies. I am licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to teach history and social studies in grades 8 through 12. I have been a professional tax preparer since 1984, specializing in federal and Massachusetts forms for individuals. If you can't find the one error that has been deliberately placed here, then you need to hire me. Specialties: The subject matter that I know the most about includes social studies in general and political science, public affairs, history, government, and current events, in particular. I have two Certificates in Publishing, a Bachelor's degree in political science (cum laude), and a Master's degree in public administration.
