Introduction

I am excited to help authors with their fiction manuscripts. My speciality is romance writing, but I work with authors of every fiction genre. My experience teaching writing began as a middle and high school English teacher, and over time I have enjoyed working with school aged and adult students in 1: 1 settings. Building ongoing and trusting relationships is a foundation for my business. I want students to feel comfortable and be able to count on good communication about their written work. In person sessions, as well as work through email and internet, are available. My services include developmental editing, copyediting, proofreading, and boo coaching. I enjoy getting to know my clients and love seeing them gain confidence in their writing. I look forward to hearing from you!

I work with students individually and try to find a plan that fits their needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically start with a phone or in-person consultation to discuss the customers goals, and from there, we develop a service plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Massachusetts licensed teacher. I taught struggling readers and writers for fifteen years. Teaching writing has always been my favorite part of the job, and gradually, I morphed into teaching writing to college and adult students, as well providing editing services.
