Tim began his cooking career with me in the late 80's.We had formerly worked together at a private country club. Tim was an extremely polite, quiet busboy and I was the executive chef, a CIA grad from 1974. Tim always had an eye on the kitchen and what ever we were preparing. He was full of questions which I always answered. It was obvious that Tim's interests were in the Culinary world. I soon left the country club to open my own restaurant, the Oley Valley Inn, located in Oley, PA.. Tim moved on to a steak house where he was a grill cook. When the Inn was on its feet, Tim applied for a job. With little hesitation, I hired Tim to start working with me to learn his way around a professional kitchen. I literally found a diamond in the rough. Tim was like a sponge, soaking up everything he could learn. Many times he would ask about any particular item, and I would demo it-most often incorporating it into our menu. The demands of being a chef / owner can be overwhelming. Tim made that job considerably easier, We soon began catering, so his newly honed skills became an essential part of the staff. As all good things come to an end, Tim left to attend the CIA. As much as I would have had him stay on, it was time to spread his wings and leave the nest. His journey speaks for itself. His food pics alone amaze me. I am so proud to say I was there to mold him into the fine chef he is today. I have yet to find another young chef that could touch what Tim has accomplished.

Working with Tim Miller it's an honor. He is an amazing chef amazing person really good sense of humor it's pleasure working with him not easy to find chefs like that helps everybody to bring out the best on them.I worked with Tim almost 8 years and I miss it learnd so much. His cooking,details,perfection,timing he make art food looks easy simplicity, flavor, elegance everything u looking for its in his head. I am so honored that I did had the chance to work with him learn everything I know from him. I am who I am today because of him and I really thank you from the bottom of my heart Tim Miller. My dream it's to have the chance to work again with you
