Realize it is a complex decision to select a tutor. My own daughter was first in her class in math and science and her class valedictorian. The secret of math is a thorough understanding of the fundamentals and frequent refreshment. Our schools do not emphasis this aspect of learning, thus our nation is finding itself dropping lower and lower in math and science when compared to other countries.
